
Molly Weidmaier (she/they) is a dancer, choreographer, and educator from Metuchen, NJ. They hold an EdM in Dance Education from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, Molly received the EdM Dance Education Student scholarship, the Victoria J. Mastrobuono scholarship, and the Scott Cagenello Memorial Prize. She performed for choreographers including: Evelyn Wang, Katy Pyle, Tentacle Tribe, André Zachary, Michelle Manzaneles, and more. They also served as rehearsal assistant and/or dance captain for Evelyn Wang, Katy Pyle, Michelle Manzaneles and Ani Javian. Additionally, Molly was President (2022-23) and Treasurer (2020-22) of the Mason Gross Student Governing Association and student representative for the Mason Gross Dance Dept. (2020-23) She was an active member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and assisted with research conducted in the Mason Gross Dance Dept under Athletic Trainer Hollie Palmisano, which she continued post-graduation. She also studied abroad at Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy.
Prior to Rutgers, Molly studied under Cleo Mack at Middlesex County Magnet School, where they were a member of NHSDA and performed for choreographers including Heather Favretto, Michelle Robinson, Blair Ritchie, Kimani Fowlin, and more. Outside of MCMS, they trained at the Jill Justin Dance Alliance in Edison, NJ. Molly currently holds a 200hr Yoga certification from Soma Yoga Institute (2019) and a 500hr Comprehensive Pilates certification from Club Pilates (2021).
Molly currently teaches Dance at William Shemin Midtown Community School in Bayonne, NJ. She also teaches at Washington Rock Dance, Club Pilates Metuchen, Club Pilates Edison, and Club Pilates Piscataway. She also performs with Rock Dance Collective, in addition to self choreographed works.
