Domain 2: Learning Environments
2b Fostering a Culture for Learning
Establishing a culture for learning and getting students excited about exploring new ideas is a key factor in any classroom. My approach to this varies based on my students, their energy and mood, and their overall interests. One particularly effective method of achieving this kind of classroom culture is to highlight student achievements and successes to the class at large. In this, I make it priority to encourage how different approaches and ideas can lead to achieving the same goal. Below are two comments on this method in practice.
