4c Engaging Families and Communities

Bringing dance to student's families and the broader community demonstrates the necessity and benefits of dance education in the school system. Below are a few examples of community engagement that I participated in during my student teaching experience; students performed a variety of dance styles at community centered events in and outside of the local community.
